Anyone from like the snes/ps1/n64 era remembers dozens and dozens of these sci-fi arcade racers - what's the appeal of these? to make or to play? Why would you ever want to invest time getting good at this kind of thing? It must be for children? Like just hoping to snag "i'll get him a racing game - this looks cool" kind of sales?

What about making games that don’t require a hardware upgrade. I meet the min specs for LMU yet my pc struggles to be consistent. Settings all the way down and yet the menu takes ages. I get it’s still early access but the game is so demanding and for me it ruins the game for the fact I can’t play it.

I'm tired of hearing about sim racers, as they all feature the sake tired and worn-out out vehicles and places. We need more Burnout-type games with more fictional content.

I can appreciate the red grass, but the trees look far too earth-like.

Why is the field only 7 opponents, why cannot devs go wild and have 20, why do the cars all look like they are the exact one with minimal visual differences in a sci-fi setting, why is the sense of speed nowhere to be found ? Looks so lame.

Thank you for the nod to Top Racer Collection. The original Top Racer is the game that got me addicted to racing games and has one of the best soundtracks ever. Still one of the most fun racing games ever made.

You should really add what kind of throttle we need to use or not or when to coast etc. You never include prdal inputs when the biggest issue with racers is the pedals.

Why is there any excitement at all for a Test Drive game within the sim racing community? AC Evo has me anxiously waiting and a new Dirt Rally title keeps me hopelessly wanting.

bro what... I trained 2h on this track, thought I was driving very well with 1:50 lap time and you pull a 1:42... lol im still beginner but god dang.. the time difference is crazy

Back when this game was called Drag, the latest stage of development was to make a free roaming mode for each and every map. This was heavily requested by the community and the devs were constantly responding to suggestions and updating the game. Glad to see this title back on track, it certainly has huge potential. I do hope they include the free roaming option somwhere down the line!

Test drive is terrible..their have been a ton of pre order cancellations.

Absolutely the worst racing game I've ever played. Controls suck, drifting never works right, magically getting tossed off a damn track, stopping for absolutely no reason because I keep getting glued to the wall. This is far the worst game I've ever played. Waste of money 100%.
